The image is coming out great so far, I love how the leaves look in the foreground, my only issue is if you are trying to go for the cycle of life there needs to be more vibrant colors. Everything just looks dead with the use of browns, grey's or the dark colors like the red and blue.
I really enjoy looking at this image, the bottom one is my favorite but it looks more like a pattern and less like a cycle. The top image (screenshot) is looking strong. Maybe add more of that orange color into the bottom. And I can see the buildings at the top and it would be nice to see them somewhere else in the image!
i like the ideas of composition here. however i would abandon the use of these colored areas/boxes, let the image be about the nature and the natural colors of your photographs
I think the bottom image is the strongest of these and it reminds me a lot of a kaleidoscope or rorschach test. I really like that I can't tell if those vein patterns are from a moth/butterfly or leaves and I think that fits your concept of life and nature pretty well. I almost wonder if you could push some of those types of natural parallels further as a foreground element
